There is little that a chocolate chip cookie can’t fix, but there is nothing that this cookie cannot fix. There is a reason that the New York Times called this recipe (here) the best chocolate chip cookie recipe ever. I am not a cookie novice, but I have dabbled in the cookie arts before. The main differences in this particular recipe are the use of different flours (cake and bread) and the extended length of sitting time for the dough before baking (I did 24 but 36 is recommended). Trust me, the compliments and recipe requests are worth it!
