If you can’t tell, I am still obsessed with my new planner. Although some people may have a dashboard of sticky notes or a pretty image as their first view, I knew that I really wanted something inspirational and motivational that I could easily look at everyday. I am weirdly obsessed with New Year’s resolutions or goals in general, so I created a vision board featuring visual representations of the goals I want to achieve this year. I bought this laminated dashboard with gold dots so that I could protect my vision board, but can still see through to the image.
Some important goals/ideas I wanted to include was positive motivation, a little piece of every aspect of my life and things that visually represent who I want to be. I also included my word of the year (minimal) which pertains mostly to my lifestyle and wardrobe, but also how I want to live my life. I just printed this out on regular printer paper because I wanted to put it in my planner right away, but I just made a collage on PicMonkey with images I found from Pinterest and then printed the image to fit in my planner.
I know that others like to have a large poster size of their vision boards, but because this planner never leaves my grasp, I feel like I get a sufficient daily reminder. Some of my goals on the board are: to be healthier, wake up earlier, grow my hair out long, drink more water, blog more frequently, save up money, cook more and try a capsule wardrobe. For each of these big goals, I have more specific little goals set so that I can actually achieve them.
