If you follow me on Instagram, you will know that I am in a deep #planneraddict phase. It was something that I came upon by accident, but quickly and completely fell in love with. I have always had a planner of some sort since 6th grade, but this year I started investing in nicer planners and including all aspects of my life in them. If you’re interested in more info and my planners and my setups and how I stay organized, read more about the jump!
I currently have 3 planners: a Kikki K Leather Personal Planner (Filofax A5 size), a Kikki K Medium Time Planner (Filofax Personal size) and a cute fabric fauxdori (Midori Travelers Notebook-inspired notebook). Let’s start with my biggest and first planner!
I’m currently using my A5 for file storage. I made a little folder for my planner using this tutorial from Alexis a.k.a. MissTrenchcoat on Youtube/Strange and Charmed on her blog! I am going to try to employ her 43 folder system (check her Youtube for more info) someday, but for now, there is just some info I want to have on hand, but don’t need to look at everyday.
The whole Midori/fauxdori world was very intimidating to me at first, but this video from the amazing Cori, a.k.a. TheResetGirl, answered all my questions. I’m currently using this as a journal and for my #ListersGottaList challenge that Cori also set up! (More info about the challenge here)
Now for my everyday/goes-everywhere-with-me planner/the love of my life: my personal planner!
My first section has my to-do lists and my to-buy lists. It also has my Spring 2015 capsule wardrobe that I take with me when I shop to ensure that I don’t buy something that I don’t need or won’t wear often. I also have a list of online order that I’m waiting on and also a bunch of other random notes that are not permanent and will eventually be throw out.
My second section has my goals and inspiration section. Here I keep my list of goals and routines. I am trying really hard to create a daily routine that maximizes my time and helps me achieve my goals efficiently. I also keep my beauty routine, my cleaning routine, my to-read/read book lists and a list of movies to watch. I had this section a bit further back, but I like having it towards the front so that I don’t forget about them.
My third section holds my monthly spreads. I keep a list of things I want to accomplish on a journal card. My fourth section has my weekly section and again there’s a journal card with some things that I want to get done for the week.
My fifth and last section is for social media/blog planning and other random information I like to have on hand. I have my editorial calendar and blog ideas, as well as the current Instagram photo challenge I am participating in as well as a short list of planner accounts I like to follow!
I separate my social media with my other random info with a large journal card. In this section there are some birthdays, passwords, gift ideas, and some contacts/addresses I like to have on hand.
At the back of my planner I have some stamps and some business cards from my favorite Etsy stores! I love supporting small business, so if you have a store you’d like me to check out, definitely let me know!
I’m not sure if Planner Friday will become a regular series on my blog, but I hope you enjoyed this post as much as I enjoyed writing it! If you have any questions about my planners or any products pictures, please comment or email me!
