It seems like everyone is jumping on the healthy juice trend lately and, luckily for me, my boyfriend recently invested in a juicer so I can hop on the wagon without having to spend ten bucks at an overpriced juicery.
G R E E N J U I C E
2 apples, quartered
1 lemon, quartered
Bunch of spinach or kale (or both!)
Small piece of ginger, peeled
1. Prepare all the ingredients. Depending on your juicer, peel and chop produce to fit.
2. Juice all ingredients together.
3. Pour over ice and enjoy!
I’ve been drinking this in the morning and it might get me more energized than coffee…seriously. It’s a great way to get a bunch of veggies in your diet without even realizing it. The great thing about juicing is that you can adjust the recipe to fit your preferences, like adding more apples for sweetness or more ginger for a kick.
